Back to school

Back to School Registration has closed – Registration for our 2026 Back to School Program has officially closed. We will be providing assistance for approximately 193 students.

If you have registered for our program, we will contact you in early August with an appointment time for your child/children to come in to select their new school clothes. Appointments will be scheduled August 3rd-6th and August 10th-13th from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.

If you did not register before our registration closed and are need of assistance, please call us at 814/827-6613 to discuss alternative options.

winter wear

New and gently used coats, boots, hats, gloves, and mittens are provided for children and adults. Items are available from the beginning of October through the end of February each year.

Christmas Program

Our Christmas Program sign-ups will open on October 1 and will run through November 15.

Medical equipment & Supplies

We provide medical equipment and supplies such as walkers, canes, wheelchairs, raised toilet seats, potty chairs, grab bars, shower chairs, Depends, and more to the general public for free. Please contact us for more information on how we can get you what you need at (814) 827-6613.

ladies’ night out

SAVE THE DATE: Ladies’ Night Out – Thursday, July 23, 2026

This annual event helps collect new school clothes, school supplies, and personal hygiene items for school-age children in our area.

The event includes entertainment, food, drink, and great prizes. For each donation made, women receive chances to win prizes. This event is held in July every year and information is posted on our Facebook page.

Christmas for Kids

SAVE THE DATE: CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS – Sunday, December 6, 2026

This annual event helps raise money to support Associated Charities programs and client services throughout the year including utility assistance, the food pantry, new school clothes, and Christmas gifts for families.

The event includes entertainment, food, drink, and great prizes. We ask attendees to bring a new toy to be given to a child in our community. Event information is posted on our Facebook page each year.
